About Us
How To Slow Aging is currently under development. How To Slow Aging is a website dedicated to the discussion of healthy aging and the rapidly developing science of enhancing human expectancy. We intend to call attention to articles and products those interested in how to slow aging may find of value.
Life expectancy for most people is too brief. The experience of aging is not particularly valued in our own culture because it is often concurrent and perceived as inherently linked to deterioration.
Medical science and the knowledge of biology on which it is based, however, are entering a phase that will revolutionize our experience of the aging process. The knowledge on which our understanding of human well-being is based is currently doubling every 42 months and the rate appears to be accelerating. It is the intent of How To Slow Aging to present an overview, for those interested in participating in the adventure of learning to expand our life expectancy.
This is an idea whose time has come and whose need has arrived. Not only are we learning to live longer, but the economic realities of the aging baby boom generation mean we may have to learn how to work longer. Why not learn how to do these things healthy and well so that, if this is our future, its one we are going to enjoy. The ability to do that demands wisdom, but wisdom is a quality peculiar to those who have learned to live long and well.
It is the vision of How to Slow Aging that, by making available just some of the exciting developments unfolding in the science of well-being, we will making a contribution to an important part of the greater unfolding of human potential.
