Is Dr. Suzanne for real?

Dr Suzanne Holly Gudakunst is considered to be the author of “Top Secret Fat Loss Secret”.  Who is this lady Doctor who is supposingly getting "death threats" from big companies in the food and diet industry, because she "comes forth and blows the lid off the conspiracy to keep you unhealthy, fat & just plain sick…"???  Her odd marketing approach ignited our curiocity, and we searched all around the Internet to find more information about her.  Here is what we found:

She is not actually a medical doctor, but rather a Chiropractor licensed in Atlanta, GA. (license number CHIR007176; Issue Date: 02/15/2002; Expire Date: 12/31/2008; Date License Updated: 11/17/2008; License Status: active).

She was a practicing chiropractor in Roswell, GA. She claims to have moved to AZ, but if you dropped by 4400 North Scottsdale Road # 9372, Scottsdale, AZ and ask for Dr Suzanne Inc, she is not there. According to the AZ Corporations Commission, Ask Dr Suzanne, Inc does not exist. Some say that she is suspected to live in Florida or Atlanta area.

We found out that she is Dr. Larry Rosenthal's "mentor" on weight loss and colon care. Dr. Larry Rosenthal is Donald Trump's dentist, as well as the personal dentist to many movie stars, rock stars and celebrities.

We doubt she is still practicing as a chiropractor, as her new endeavors involve the marketing of the “Top Secret Car Secret” , in which she claims that you can buy very expensive cars 30-70% off retail, and the “biz in a box”, where she claims her affiliates can make tons of money by buying her website selling health products.

We were very ambiguous about discussing “Top Secret Fat Loss Secret” in our HowToSlowAging.com blog. The reason is that her advertizing approach appears odd with so much hype and inaccuracy of facts, to the point we were wondering if she wrote the material herself or just outsourced it to an ignorant copywriter. Whatever the story behind her bad marketing approach, the sales letter is absolutely gross, and on top of that, has some glaring mistakes, particularly in relation to the names of the “critters”! The book itself is written in a similar tone, and you think you have wasted your money, because the first chapters are common sense information most of us already know.

She claims to have spent a number of years (since 2002) conducting “independent research” on human colon and digestive system function, but we were unable to find any published scientific or medical papers resulting from her research. Dr. Jonathan Cohen, M.D. Gastroenterologist trained at Harvard University Medical School until 1990, who she is apparently partners with, endorses her business.

The theory behind Dr. Suzanne Gudakunst’s book is not new. There are thousands of studies that support the foundational principals of her program. Many doctors including Mark Hyman, MD, founder of the Ultra Wellness Center, have written books on the effects of toxins on obesity. If we do not hear about it is because it takes several years for a discovery to find its application in a medical practice.

The Top Secret Fat Loss Secret is available in two packages; the Pro Version and the Hardcore Elite Version. Last time we checked, the Pro version was $37 with a clock ticking and threatening a price increase to $57 if you buy after 7 days! The Elite Version was $57 and would increase to $87 if you would not buy within 7 days. By the way, the clock is really programmed to work, so if you decide to buy after 7 days, you may have to use a computer with a different IP address, if you want to save a few bucks!

If you subscribe to the newsletter, instead of fat loss tips, you will eventually be receiving invitations to participate in her marketing with a lot of promises of financial success. You will also be receiving other internet marketing offers.  Just a warning!

She writes “I want you to think of me as your "guardian angel"- literally someone who's willing to watch over you when nobody else will – or even when YOU may fail to watch over yourself.” A few lines later she states “99.8% of most doctors would rather you get sick and stay sick as that's how they earn their living!” etc. etc. Dr. Suzanne Gudakunst and Kevin Trudeau would make a dandy tag team!
